Good value for annual plan

I was looking for some background music for my YouTube videos and Mubert came up. I compared a few options and the annual subscription for the Creator License offered the best bang for my buck. I got a pretty good discount for signing up for the year, which made it much more affordable than paying monthly. The music quality is solid for what I need, and it's stream safe. Definitely felt like a smart purchase for my budget.

Love the AI music!

I'm obsessed with Mubert Studio! I've been playing around with it for a few weeks now, making lo-fi AI beats for my personal projects, and it's just so much fun. The quality of the music it generates is surprisingly good, and I love how many options there are. It's super easy to tweak things and get exactly the sound I want. I'm definitely going to keep my subscription going and I've already told my friends who also do creative stuff about it. Seriously, if you need music, check this out!

Got my podcast music

I needed some intro and outro music for my new podcast, nothing too fancy, just something catchy. Used Mubert Play for a bit. It was easy enough to get some tracks that fit the vibe. Downloaded them, stuck them in my audio editor. Everything went smoothly. Saved me a bunch of time instead of trying to find stuff elsewhere. Pretty happy with it.

Decent for content creators

I signed up for the Creator License to get some royalty-free music for my short films. The Mubert Render tool is pretty straightforward to use and generates tracks quickly. Most of the music fit well, though sometimes it takes a few tries to get the exact mood I'm going for. Delivery is instant since it's digital. Customer service was responsive when I had a question about licensing, which was good. The pricing is fair, especially with the annual discount, but I wish there were a few more customization options within the generator itself to fine-tune specific elements without regenerating completely. Overall, a solid service.

how does Mubert compare to Epidemic Sound? i've been using Epidemic for a while but Mubert's AI thing sounds cool.

B Brett 1 month ago
Mubert's main thing is the AI generation, so you get unique stuff. Epidemic has a huge library of pre-made tracks. It really depends if you want to find something specific or create something unique. Mubert is better if you have a really specific vision or need endless variations.

Epidemic Sound is great if you want to browse existing music. Mubert is better if you want to punch in 'epic cinematic background music for a space documentary' and get something totally new. Mubert can sometimes feel a bit less 'human' because it's AI, but it's really good for customization.

is mubert actually royalty-free? like truly? or do they pull a fast one later?

K Kate K. 3 weeks ago
It's genuinely royalty-free for what you generate under your subscription, according to their terms. Just make sure you keep your subscription active if you need to keep using tracks commercially. If you cancel, you can't use new stuff, but existing projects are usually fine.

Yep, it's legit. The whole point is avoiding all that licensing headache. As long as you follow their licensing terms, you're good.

can you actually use mubert tracks on youtube without getting hit with a copyright claim? i'm super paranoid about that.

A Amber W. 1 month ago
Yeah, totally. That's kinda their whole thing. Just make sure you're properly licensed for what you're doing, like if you need the commercial license or just creator.

Yep, stream safe for sure. I've used it on my gaming channel for months and never had an issue. Just link your channel in your account settings, I think that's how it works.

hey, was thinking about getting the Mubert annual plan. how much do you usually save going yearly instead of monthly?

J Jared 1 month ago
From what I remember when I signed up, it was something like 30-40% off the monthly price. Definitely worth it if you plan to use it a lot.

anybody know if Mubert ever does a lifetime deal? saw some software on Appsumo once that had one.

W Wendy 1 month ago
They've had Appsumo offers before, yeah. Not sure if it was a true lifetime thing or just a huge discount, but it happens. Keep an eye out around Black Friday.

I missed one ages ago, still kicking myself. They pop up sometimes, but usually for specific tiers or for a limited time. Don't count on it being a regular thing.

can i upload my own samples or sounds to mubert to kinda guide the AI? or is it all built-in stuff?

R Rachel 2 weeks ago
I don't think you can directly upload your own samples for the AI to *learn* from, like how some other AI tools work. You mostly guide it with parameters and descriptors. But with Studio you have more control over the output.
1
N Nina Patel 2 weeks ago
Nah, it's not really a sampler like that. You give it tags, mood, genre, energy, and it generates. It uses its own huge dataset. You can't feed it your own audio loops to remix, afaik.

what's the difference between Mubert Render and Mubert Studio? i'm trying to figure out which one I need.

D Daisy Hughes 1 month ago
Render is more for quickly generating specific tracks based on your vibe/mood/genre. Studio lets you get way more hands-on with the AI, kinda guiding it more, if that makes sense. Like, if you just need a quick background track, Render. If you wanna tweak stuff, Studio.

G Greg P. 1 month ago
Render is like 'give me a chill lo-fi beat for 2 minutes'. Studio is like 'let me play around with instruments and tempo and influence what the AI spits out'. Studio is more for producers, Render is more for content creators who need music fast.

Pretty sure they do. I definitely messed around with it for a bit before I paid up. It lets you get a feel for the generator.
